How You Can Help….

Volunteering Opportunities

For those of you with the time and energy, you can help at our garage sales and other fundraisers.  We have a garage sale coming up in September and can use help setting up for the sale and actually helping with the sale itself.

Another way you can help, is to solicit local businesses such as restaurants to provide us with gift certificates which we can use for prizes at future fundraiser events such as our upcoming golf tournament this fall.

Another opportunity is for one or more volunteers to come to Peru to help in December.  This is a big commitment  and you would have to provide your own airfare as well as food and lodging in Peru.  All documented expenses are tax deductible.  Proficiency in Spanish would be helpful, but not essential.  If you are interested for this year, or in the future, please let me know.

More Than Children!

We help the elderly, too.

Although our primary focus has always been on needy children, we have also help the elderly by giving them warm clothing for the past three years.   It’s an honor to help them! The vulnerability of the poor is not restricted by age.  When you help our fund, through garage sales and other fund-raising outreach, your contributions make a difference in the lives of both young and old!

Thanks for you support!
